About the role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. This role involves assisting with daily activities, personal care, and companionship while adhering to care plans and ensuring client safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support with daily living activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and shopping.
Administer medication in accordance with care plans and organizational policies.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and caring environment.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or well-being to supervisors.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and follow safeguarding procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.

Requirements
Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine passion for helping others.
Previous experience in care (desirable but not essential; full training provided).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (preferred, depending on location).
Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
